Hampel takes victory, Woffinden closes on title

Britain’s Tai Woffinden moved a step closer to the 2013 world title with second place in the Slovenian Grand Prix but he was unable to prevent Jaroslaw Hampel winning in Krsko.

Tomasz Gollab finished third, capitalising on a good start which saw him win his opening heat.
Woffinden’s haul of 17 points increased his led to 20 points over the absent Emil Sayfutdinov who missed the race with a rumoured broken arm.
