The 23-year-old became Britain’s first World Champion in over a decade earlier this month, but faces a tough task retaining his title as the top 13 riders from the 2013 standings will all return next year.
They include Poland’s Jaroslaw Hampel, who pushed Woffinden all the way this season, and Demark’s Niels-Kristian Iversen who finished third in the standings.
Former world champions Chris Holder and Tomasz Gollob were given permanent wild cards for the year, while Britain's Chris Harris is among the substitute riders.
