13:08 Zmarzlik finishes on top

It's now four for four in qualifying for Zmarzlik. Despite efforts from Lambert and Janowski no-one could dethrone the Quali King.

13:05 Session coming to an end

With just a handful of riders left, Zmarzlik looks cool on top.

12:58 Zmarzlik back on top

Zmarlik goes fastest on his last outing with a 14.399.

12:53 Back on track

The riders are back on track for the last couple of groups to set their final blistering laps.

12:46 Mix around up top

The top five riders have had a mix around. Lambert sits top with Zmarzlik just behind him. Janowski is currently in third with Bewley and Woffinden sitting fourth and fifth respectively.

12:44 Lambert goes fastest

In track conditions that are less than optimal, Lambert pulls out a storming lap with a 14.446, propelling him to the top.

12:40 No faster time, yet

It looks as if Zmarzlik's time could keep him conformably on top. However, there's still time for someone else to topple him. One man that will disappointed with his session so far is Thomsen, who currently sits at the bottom of the pack.

12:35 Zmarzlik back on top

Zmarzlik is able to get the right set up and set a 14.492. Janowski went top temporarily with at 14.509. The track grading worked well for this group of riders.

12:29 Woffinden still fastest at the break

The top ten is separated by just 0.162. As the second lot of track grading happens, it's Woffinden the man on top for the first time this year. Can someone better his time?
The 2022 Speedway Grand Prix will be available live and ad-free on discovery+ with live race action also on Eurosport 2.

12:24 Woffinden now on top

A 14.538 topples Madsen and put's Woffinden as the man on top. Lambert and Vaculik also set competitive times with a 14.609 and 14.606 respectively.

12:21 Michelsen can't compete

The last group for the first laps are out. Mikkel Michelsen plus reserve riders, Norick Blodorn and Lukas Baumann. Yet again, the top three aren't tested. Michelsen's best time was a 14.769.

12:18 Slower times

Patryk Dudek, Anders Thomsen and Fredrik Lindgren go for their first laps. The group can't compete with those up top, with Lindgren being the fastest on a 14.733.

12:12 Small break

While some track grading happens, lets take a look at the top three:
  • 1 Leon Madsen 14.553
  • 2 Bartosz Zmarzlik 14.663
  • 3 Maciej Janowski 14.669
Bewley, Huckenbeck and Fricke aren't too far off the top three's timings.

12:10 Track faster again

Dan Bewley, Leon Madsen and Jason Doyle are next up. Madsen sets a 15.553, edging Zmarzlik off the top. The track is certainly getting faster as the riders set their first laps times.

12:07 Zmarzlik storms on up

Bartosz Zmarlik, Max Fricke and Maciej Janowski are out for some Quali action. The track is getting faster and the man that's been on top in all three qualifying's goes top again with a 14.663 from Zmarzlik. Close time's from this group with Fricke being the slowest on 14.700.

12:04 Holder goes faster

Pawel Przedpelski, Kai Huckenbeck and Jack Holder are now setting their first laps. Holder goes faster with a 14.688. Huckenbeck was close with a 14.697.

12:00 First riders are getting ready

Robert Lambert, Tai Woffinden and Martin Vaculik are the first three out. The benchmark for everyone else to reach is 14.783, set by Vaculik, last weeks victor in Prague.

Zmarzlik King of Quali

So far, Bartosz Zmarzlik has been on top of every qualifying session. Can he make it four out of four in Germany?

Hello and Welcome

Welcome to the fourth round of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix. This time around, we are at the Bergring Arena in Teterow. The weekend's Wild Card is home grown talent Kai Huckenbeck.

How to watch?

Discovery+ will provide live, ad-free coverage of every race as well as interactive services. Race action will also be live on Eurosport 2, with highlights and reaction on the Eurosport website.

How qualifying works

Qualifying takes place on the same day as the race and allows the rider to secure first choice of starting number.
Every rider will start from each of the four gates at least once, but will start from one gate twice. Qualifying practice provides the opportunity to ensure they have the right starting positions at the right time.
Riders take to the track in groups of three, trying to clock the fastest laps in three blocks of two minutes. The rider who records the fastest lap is rewarded with first choice of starting number for the event. Second place chooses next and this continues right down to 16th place selecting last.
