Superbikes news - Jonathan Rea does the double in Argentina

Jonathan Rea finished an excellent Sunday in Argentina by picking up victory in Race 2, following a triumph in the Superpole.

He beat Chaz Davies of ARUBA.IT Racing – Ducati to the win, with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu of Turkish Puccetti Racing finishing third.

Rea did had a minor wobble midway through the race, running off the circuit on Turn 8 of the seventh lap, handing the lead to Alvaro Bautista for a lap until he resumed control.

In the Superpole, Rea led in the warm-up, and when it came to the sprint, the Kawasaki rider crossed the line ahead of Alvaro Bautista and Toprak Razgatlioglu.
