Jonathan Rea won Race 1 in the Aragon Round of the World Superbikes championship.
The race was re-run after a red flag in the early stages due to a crash involving Leon Camier - who was later taken to hospital for a precautionary assessment - Jordi Torres and Lorenzo Savadori.
Following a re-start at 12.30pm, Spaniard Xavi Fores appeared to be the favourite when he took the lead.
However, the reigning champion Rea was not prepared to give up the fight, and staged a late comeback, holding off fellow Ducati rider Chaz Davies, who finished in second.
Fores had to settle for the final place on the podium.
