Race One

In the opening race of the weekend Rea pounced on a slight wobble from title rival Chaz Davies to seize the lead with 19 laps remaining and was rarely troubled, while his Kawasaki team-mate Tom Sykes – the other party in his crash two weeks ago – had a difficult outing as he dropped five places to finish seventh.
Alex Lowes took third in a crash-strewn race.

Race Two

Sunday's race saw Rea surge through the field after starting down in ninth on the grid. The Kawasaki star made overtaking look easy on the notoriously tough California track to take a comfortable lead over Chaz Davies and Eugene Laverty.
Rea leads the overall standings on 320 points, with Davies on 245.
