reaBautista has now become the first rider since Neil Hodgson in 2003 to win the opening six races of a season.
"I don't know what to say," he admitted after the race. "We came to Kawasaki's territory. We worked really well. My team at Ducati gave me again good feedback with the bike, so I had a lot of confidence."

Jonathan Rea, winner of the past four world titles, continued to trail in the wake of the World Superbikes newcomer as he came in second on his Kawasaki.
"The gap to the front is just a little bit too much," said Rea afterwards. "We took what was ours, and that was a brace of second places."

Alex Lowes joined them on the podium - just as he did in the first race of the day, the sprint.
Bautista led from start to finish as he continues to assert himself in a sport which has been dominated by Rea in recent years, leading from pole position and shutting off any attempts at attack from his rivals.
