Manaudou sets world record

French star Laure Manaudou set a new world record in the 400m freestyle as she won her third gold at the European Short Course Championships for the second year in succession.

The 20-year-old clocked 3:56.09 to beat her own previous record by seven tenths, set at last year's event in Trieste.
She had won the 800m freestyle and 100m backstroke on Friday.
Italy's Federica Pellegrini, who clocked 3:59.96, and Britain's Joanne Jackson (4:01.48) took the minor placings.
Oleg Lisogor of the Ukraine won the 50m breakstroke title for the sixth consecutive year, his time of 26.5 seconds - a championship record.
Alessando Terrin and Darren Mew took silver and bronze for Italy and Britain respectively.
Russia's Yury Prilukov smashed the European record by seven seconds as he made it five in a row in the 1500m freestyle.
Mateusz Sawrymowicz of Poland and France's Sebastien Rouault completed the podium.
Hanna-Maria Seppala sent a capacity crowd crazy in Helsinki as the Finn retained her 100m individual medley crown.
She edged out Ganna Dzerkal of Ukraine by a mere five hundreths with Svitlana Khakhlova taking bronze for Belarus' first medal of the championship.
Janine Pietsch won two golds in the space of an hour, landing the 50m backstroke and then swimming the first leg for Germany's successful 4x50m medley relay team.
The squad of Pietsch, Janne Schaefer, Antje Buschschulte and Daniela Samulski had no trouble beating Sweden into second with a time of 1:48.14.
Italy's Filippo Magnini retained his 100m freestyle crown albeit in a slower time, 46.81, than he swam in home water last year.
Sweden's Stefan Nystrand and France's Alain Bernard took the minor placings.
It was a similair story for Poland's Pawel Korzeniowski who kept his firm grip on the 200m butterfly crown in 1:52.33, beating Hungary's Laszlo Cseh who collected his third medal of the competition.
