Peaty has enjoyed enormous success with Marshall, this year alone breaking the world record twice to retain his 50m breaststroke world title as well as claiming another gold in the 100m event in Budapest.
The 22-year-old returned to action at the Manchester International Meet earlier this week, where he once again topped the podium.
It is perhaps these results which gained Marshall selection for her second Commonwealth Games as a coach, having won seven medals at the Games during her own swimming career.
The National Centre Loughborough coach will be joined in Australia by Dave McNulty, Jol Finck and Kevin Renshaw – who takes on the role of head coach.
Based in Bath, McNulty will be attending his fifth consecutive Commonwealth Games for Team England, having coached at every one since Manchester 2002.
The British swimming stalwart has coached the likes of Michael Jamieson, Jazz Carlin and Chris Walker-Hebborn, but is eagerly anticipating the challenge posed by competing on Australian soil.
"It's always a huge honour and a privilege to represent England at a Commonwealth Games," he said.
"To not only take on the very best athletes in the Commonwealth, but to also go head to head with Australia on their turf makes this one a great competition to look forward to and relish. This is really what it's all about."
Finck is also no stranger to cultivating Olympic success and currently works with Rio silver medallist and world champion James Guy.
The announcement of these four coaches comes three weeks after the first 15 swimmers selected for Team England were announced, with more coaches and athletes to be chosen in December.
And Renshaw believes the wealth of experience his colleagues possess can help the squad stay on target down under.
"I am delighted with the first coaching selections we have made for Team England heading to the Gold Coast next year," he said.
"They are coaches that have very good experience behind them and all know what it takes to win medals at the highest level.
"All are strong characters who exhibit all the characteristics and behaviours required to help Team England achieve their goals on the Gold Coast in April."
