GAME, SET, MATCH - MEDVEDEV! Medvedev 6-0, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (8) Sinner: An incredible match comes to a close in Turin as Medvedev saves two match points to make it three wins from three.
MEDVEDEV 6-6 SINNER (6-0, 6-7): Tie-break! This match will be decided by a breaker in the third set! How will this one go? Sinner deserves credit for taking this the distance!
MEDVEDEV 6-5 SINNER* (6-0, 6-7): Another quick hold from Medvedev who has at least secured a tie-break at the end of this third and deciding set.
*MEDVEDEV 5-5 SINNER (6-0, 6-7): Medvedev concedes the point at 40-0 after a dubious line call and that goes down well with the Italian crowd inside the arena.
MEDVEDEV 5-4 SINNER* ( 6-0, 6-7): Well, that was a quick hold. A series of big serves sees Medvedev hold in under a minute as the pressure switches back to the Sinner serve.
*MEDVEDEV 4-4 SINNER (6-0, 6-7): Break back! Just as it appears that Medvedev has checked out, he breaks back. He's such a difficult player to work out! Fascinating to watch.
MEDVEDEV 3-4 SINNER* (6-0, 6-7): This is bizarre tennis from Medvedev. He's going big on every single serve, first or second serve. He holds this time, but it's casino tennis.
*MEDVEDEV 2-4 SINNER (6-0, 6-7): A love hold from Sinner as he consolidates the break in this third and deciding set. The Italian is just two games away from victory!
MEDVEDEV 2-3 SINNER* (6-0, 6-7): Break! Medvedev rolls the dice with the big second serve on break point, but he goes long and the double fault sees Sinner make the breakthrough!
*MEDVEDEV 2-2 SINNER (6-0, 6-7): Medvedev had a break point at 30-40, but Sinner did well to control the power in his groundstrokes and win the next three points.
MEDVEDEV 2-1 SINNER* (6-0, 6-7): Medvedev has found his flow on the forehand side again and that could be ominous for Sinner who might struggle to make inroads on his serve.
*MEDVEDEV 1-1 SINNER (6-0, 6-7): And now a love hold from Sinner who is fully engaged in this match after a very difficult start which saw him bagel'd in the opening set.
MEDVEDEV 1-0 SINNER* (6-0, 6-7): A love hold from Medvedev at the start of the third set. That suggests that the world number two might be a bit more focused in this set.
SECOND SET, SINNER! Medvedev 6-7 (5) Sinner (6-0): Incredible fight from Sinner who has levelled up the match in the second set tie-break! We have a serious match on our hands now!
MEDVEDEV 6-6 SINNER (6-0): Tie-break! A passing shot gave Sinner 30-30 on the Medvedev serve, but he couldn't convert the opportunity and this set will now go to a breaker!
*MEDVEDEV 5-6 SINNER (6-0): An ace on game point and Sinner will at least have a tie-break in this second set. Now, can he take some risks and apply some pressure on the Medvedev serve?
MEDVEDEV 5-5 SINNER* (6-0): That had the potential to be a difficult game for Medvedev, but the Russian holds to love, secured with a forehand winner cross-court.
*MEDVEDEV 4-5 SINNER (6-0): The 20-year-old wins an epic rally on game point and Sinner is now just one game away from levelling this up at one set apiece! He's competing well.
