POUILLE WINS 7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4, 6-3! What a match! The momentum switched back and forth between the two players, but in the end it's Pouille who gets the job done! He will move into the fourth round of the Australian Open. He had to work for it.
13:29
Pouille 5-3 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): Popyrin finds his 16th ace of the match to close out a hold of serve and force the pressure back on Pouille. Is there one last twist in this?
13:26
*POUILLE 5-2 Popyrin (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): All of a sudden, Pouille is a game away from the fourth round. There was a crucial Hawkeye challenge at 30-0 in that game. Popyrin thought he'd struck the winner, the out call was made and the technology proved it. Millimetres in it!

Pouille 4-2 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): The young Australian is broken down! Might that be a fatal blow? Popyrin wound up a forehand on break point, but went for too much and it drifts long.

13:16
*POUILLE 3-2 Popyrin (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): A quick and easy service game for Pouille just when he needed one. Shot selection has been an issue for him in the past couple sets, but he was thinking clear here.
13:14
Pouille 2-2 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): Pouille just can't find the returns of serve that he was finding in the first two sets. Popyrin is getting so many free points. The Frenchman can't allow that to continue.
13:11
*POUILLE 2-1 Popyrin (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): There was some strange shot selection from Pouille in that service game, but he edges ahead in this fifth and final set! Just about getting it done.
13:10
Pouille 1-1 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): A quick service game from the young Australian. Who do you favour at this stage? All the momentum seems to be with Popyrin!
13:08
13:07
*POUILLE 1-0 Popyrin (7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4): Pouille needs to gather himself and he did that at the start of the fifth set. Some big first serves gave the Frenchman some much-needed free points.

POPYRIN TAKES THE FOURTH SET, 6-4! We are going the distance on Margaret Court Arena! The young Australian truly believes that he can pull this off, and with good reason! Pouille's mind must be all over the place.
12:56
*POUILLE 4-5 Popyrin (7-6, 6-3, 6-7): At 30-30, it looked like the Frenchman might crumble again on his serve, but he finds a big serve to click his mind back into groove again and closes out.
12:52
Pouille 3-5 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7): The young Australian holds his nerve and Pouille will have to serve to stay in the fourth set and prevent this match from going the distance!

Pouille 3-4 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7): A break for the young Australian! Pouille looks frazzled by what is happening on the other side of the court. He's taking risks and they are paying off!
12:43
Pouille 3-3 POPYRIN* (7-6, 6-3, 6-7): Popyrin is gesturing to the crowd and talking at his box a lot more now. Much more animated from the young Australian, who clearly believes he can compete this comeback.
12:40
*POUILLE 3-2 Popyrin (7-6, 6-3, 6-7): Indeed, it looks like Pouille might be back in the flow of things in this fourth set after a little wobble. His forehands have found their depth again.
