Good morning and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of the Australian Open men's singles semi final between Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Tsitsipas has made it to the final four at Melbourne Park before, but has never made it to the final of a Grand Slam. Can he break his duck here? Medvedev, however, knows what it takes to win a Grand Slam semi final. The Russian has one of the best two-handed backhands in the game. Could that be a factor?

MEDVEDEV 6-4, 6-2, 7-5 TSITSIPAS
GAME, SET, MATCH! It'll be Medvedev who takes on Novak Djokovic in Sunday's Australian Open final! What a performance that was from the Russian who has now won 20 matches in a row! Tsitsipas just didn't have any answers. He couldn't get through Medvedev. It was pretty much a complete performance.
*MEDVEDEV 6-5 TSITSIPAS (6-4, 6-2)
What an incredible shot! Medvedev breaks with a stunning winner down the line when Tsitsipas had closed off the cross-court at the net. The Russian celebrates by winding up the Rod Laver Arena crowd which has gone quiet!
MEDVEDEV 5-5 TSITSIPAS* (6-4, 6-2)
An opportunity for Tsitsipas at 0-30 as Medvedev loses his range a little bit, but the Russian tightens up his serve and that's enough to get him out of trouble. What a weapon that is!
*MEDVEDEV 4-5 TSITSIPAS (6-4, 6-2)
Well played! More pressure on the Tsitsipas serve, but he finds a big, unreturnable serve at 40-40 and then comes to the net the point after that to move within one game of taking the third set.
MEDVEDEV 4-4 TSITSIPAS* (6-4, 6-2)
All of a sudden Medvedev's first serve isn't coming too easily for him. Tsitsipas had a real opportunity at 30-40 and again at deuce, but the Russian finds an ace to bring up game point and clinches it.
*MEDVEDEV 3-4 TSITSIPAS (6-4, 6-2)
Tsitispas is in the groove now! The crowd are behind him and he's two games away from taking this third set! Pressure is now on Medvedev to get back on the straight and narrow after allowing his concentration to slip.
MEDVEDEV 3-3 TSITSIPAS* (6-4, 6-2)
BREAK! Tsitsipas finally breaks Medvedev and the Russian might have sabotaged himself there! He went for the towel to make a sarcastic statement on how long Tsitsipas is taking between serves and the Greek won three of the next four points to break!
*MEDVEDEV 3-2 TSITSIPAS (6-4, 6-2)
Tsitsipas saves a break point on his own serve to hold and at least keep some scoreboard pressure on Medvedev. Will that moment provide the spark the Greek needs to ignite his game and this fightback?
MEDVEDEV 3-1 TSITSIPAS* (6-4, 6-2)
Tsitsipas just cannot get a handle on the Medvedev service game and it's yet another comfortable hold for the Russian who is edging closer and closer to a place in the Australian Open final.
*MEDVEDEV 2-1 TSITSIPAS (6-4, 6-2)
Much better serving from Tsitsipas in that service game and he's on the board in this third set. Now, can he finally find a way to cause Medvedev some trouble on his own serve?
MEDVEDEV 2-0 TSITSIPAS* (6-4, 6-2)
A love hold. That's a fifth love service hold from Medvedev in this match and that illustrates the extent to which Tsitsipas has failed to trouble his Russian opponent on his serve.
*MEDVEDEV 1-0 TSITSIPAS (6-4, 6-2)
It's all got a bit quiet on Rod Laver Arena now. Tsitsipas has been broken for the second straight game and Medvedev is racing towards the finish line now. Of course, the Greek fought back from two sets down against Nadal, but there's no sign of a fightback yet.
This was Tsitsipas' reaction to losing the first set!
'Water everywhere!' - Tsitsipas hurls bottle, Medvedev complains to umpire
MEDVEDEV 6-2 TSITSIPAS (6-4)
Medvdev is in total control on Rod Laver Arena. The Russian has a two sets to love lead and Tsitsipas just can't find a way to consistently harm the number four seed! He needs to try something different to turn this semi final around.
*MEDVEDEV 5-2 TSITSIPAS (6-4)
It's a break to love and Medvedev will now serve for a two sets to love lead in this Australian Open semi final! Tsitsipas just doesn't have any answers at the moment. No clear strategy from the Greek!
MEDVEDEV 4-2 TSITSIPAS* (6-4)
These Medvedev service gamesa re going far too quickly for Tsitsipas' liking. He has struggled to make any sort of inroad on the Russian's serve throughout this whole match.
*MEDVEDEV 3-2 TSITSIPAS (6-4)
An important hold of serve to keep Tsitsipas in this contest, but it's all a bit of a struggle for the Greek at the moment. Medvedev is such a nightmare to play against. Difficult to get flow against.
MEDVEDEV 3-1 TSITSIPAS* (6-4)
It's just so incredibly solid from Medvedev at the moment. He played a similar way against Rublev in his quarter final. Tsitsipas needs to find a way to get to the net more often.
*MEDVEDEV 2-1 TSITSIPAS (6-4)
The Tsitsipas resolve is broken and Medvedev takes the lead in this second set. He is now a set and a break up! That forehand is doing so much damage. Tsitsipas doesn't have an answer for it!
