OK, that is going to be all from me for today. Hope to see you again tomorrow for the women's semi-finals and the first of the men's semi-finals. You can read all about Medvedev's stunning win in our report below. Bye.
13:33
Daniil Medvedev: "I was not playing my best and Felix was playing unbelievable, serving unbelievable, I didn’t really know what to do. I told myself, and people aren’t going to like this, but I thought 'what would Novak do?'" [cue loud boos from the crowd]
13:30
Tim Henman: "An incredible performance. The resilience from Medvedev to keep fighting. He will need to recover well for the semi-finals but he is still the man to beat."

MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 6-4 AUGER-ALIASSIME
Auger-Aliassime gets on the front foot in the first rally of the game and gets ahead. Medvedev then goes wide. Hello. Medvedev snatches at a forehand and Auger-Aliassime has TWO break points. Medvedev finds his range to save the first and Auger-Aliassime then drags a backhand out on the next. That's a waste. And Medvedev now has match point. He takes it! What a match. What a win for the world No 2.

MEDVEDEV *6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 5-4 AUGER-ALIASSIME
Some huge hitting from both players after four-and-a-half hours on court. Neither looks tired and Auger-Aliassime manages to find another big serve to hold and put it on Medvedev to finish this contest off.
13:18
Maybe should have changed the court for this...

MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 5-3* AUGER-ALIASSIME
Very well played from Auger-Aliassime as he picks up a short ball and flicks it into the corner for a winner. He then crunches a forehand into the corner to get to deuce. Double fault. Did not see this coming. But Medvedev saves break point with a big serve out wide and again some shows superb defence to get through the game. Medvedev's defensive game has been absolutely incredible this evening.

MEDVEDEV *6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 4-3 AUGER-ALIASSIME
Credit to Auger-Aliassime, he's fighting to stay in this match. Whether he can fashion another chance to break remains to be seen but he is giving it everything to hold and at least put some pressure on Medvedev.

MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 4-2* AUGER-ALIASSIME
Not quite happening for Auger-Aliassime now as another game quickly slips away from him. Medvedev just two games away from the semi-finals.
12:57
Trainer is out for Auger-Aliassime and looking at his feet.
12:54
MEDVEDEV *6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 3-2 AUGER-ALIASSIME
Auger-Aliassime is leading on almost every stat. He's hit more winners (66-43), more aces (18-15), and won more points (161-158). However, he's also made more unforced errors (67-46) and crucially is behind on the scoreboard. He holds to stay in touch in the final set.

MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 3-1* AUGER-ALIASSIME
Medvedev quickly gets 30-0 ahead before Auger-Aliassime goes long with a forehand from the middle of the court. Looks like it's slipping away for the Canadian as Medvedev eases through another hold.

MEDVEDEV *6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 2-1 AUGER-ALIASSIME
Auger-Aliassime works Medvedev around with his forehand but then misses wide and, after saving three break points in the last game, Medvedev now has a look at two break points. Double fault on the first and Medvedev breaks.
12:42
MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 1-1* AUGER-ALIASSIME
Auger-Aliassime wins the first point but Medvedev shows some wonderful defence to stay in a point that he looked destined to lose. He drops the next point though before Auger-Aliassime comes up with a brilliant backhand winner down the line to bring up two break points. The first is saved after a net cord before Auger-Aliassime goes for a big return and whacks it long. Auger-Aliassime gets another chance but again Medvedev saves. The Russian is coming up with all the answers on the big points and he manages to hold as the clock approaches four hours.

MEDVEDEV *6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5 0-1 AUGER-ALIASSIME
"Keep the belief" is the message from Tim Henman to Auger-Aliassime, who has won three of the four five-set matches he has played in his career. Wow, how's that for belief? Auger-Aliassime is pushed out wide and flicks a one-handed backhand passing shot down the line. Absolutely superb. He holds to love.
12:32
This was some get by Medvedev at a crucial moment in the last game of that set...

MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 7-5* AUGER-ALIASSIME
It looks like a comfortable hold for Medvedev but he goes for a bit much on a second serve and double faults, then Auger-Aliassime goes for a bit on his returns and manages to get to deuce. Medvedev pulls off a wondrous shot at the net to win the next point and closes out with an ace. Into a fifth set we go.

MEDVEDEV *6-7 3-6 7-6 6-5 AUGER-ALIASSIME
A bit nervy from both players as they both miss a couple of routine-looking shots and it's 30-30. Auger-Aliassime's serve is still working well and helps him win the next point, but he then stands and watches as a backhand from Medvedev drifts into court. Not sure why he didn't go for that and it could be costly. Another error gives Medvedev a break point and Auger-Aliassime misses a forehand to give the game away.

MEDVEDEV 6-7 3-6 7-6 5-5* AUGER-ALIASSIME
Chance for Auger-Aliassime at 15-15 as he has Medvedev at the net and shanks his shot high into the sky and beyond the baseline. But Medvedev misses on the next point and then double faults. Wow. Match point. Medvedev comes up with a big serve at a critical moment and saves. He delivers two more good serves to hold and stay in the tournament.
