Welcome! The next match we're covering in the Australian Open fourth round is the mighty Victoria Azarenka of Belarus against the Czech Republic's Barbora Strycova.

Good play by Strycova, but not good enough to beat the machine that is Victoria Azarenka.

Azarenka will play Kerber in the quarter-final, a match not to be missed, I think, though Azarenka has yet to lose to Kerber.

Azarenka 6-2 6- 4 Strycova. Once she starts the crescendo, it's always over so quickly. Game set and match to Azarenka, as if the outcome could have been any different, but let's not forget Strycova knocked Muguruza out of the tournament.

Azarenka 6-2 5-3 Strycova. They are hitting very close to the lines, here - it's so precise. A very exciting game, won by Azarenka who could finish things off in the next game if she breaks Strycova's serve.

Azarenka 6-2 4-3 Strycova. That was really something. Strycova returns a ball that bounces right by the baseline, and looks sure to win Azarenka the point, Azarenka returns another tricky ball but Strycova makes contact with it, by the skin of her teeth. Is her return out? The umpire says not, and Azarenka shows us her sad face.

Azarenka 6-2 3-3 Strycova. Now Strycova is chucking herself at the ground, though a little less purposefully than Gael Monfils over in the Margaret arena. It's time for Azarenka to break this, isn't it?

Azarenka 6-2 2-3 Strycova. Azarenka has dropped a third set, which is the first time this has happened in this competition. She's not had her service broken yet, though, so probably no need for alarm. She may not see it that way, I suspect she's something of a perfectionist...

Azarenka 6-2 1-2 Strycova. That's quite a rally between the two, which ends when Azarenka smashes a long ball down the line. It's Strycova's game though, earned with a lovely dropshot.

Azarenka 6-2 Strycova. This is much more like the Azarenka we saw in earlier rounds, even if her average score so far is 6-1.

Azarenka 5-2 Strycova. Nice point for Azarenka: a strong backhand powered down the line. Strycova want to catch her out, but she's not having that. Azarenka breaks her serve for the second time with a passing shot and will now serve for the set.
