Buzarnescu nets a backhand, and that's the first set for Wozniacki, who's looking very good now. She'll fancy herself to have this sorted soonest.

Buzarnescu is feeling a bit more comfortable now, bringing her racket head through the ball much faster, especially on the forehand. But it can't save her from being broken again because Wozniacki is just so solid, getting everything back with interest.

Buzarnescu is considered to be a serious talent. if she cold inject a bit more power, that'd help.

Buzarnescu is a solid player, a lefty, and not who you'd want in the first round. Wozniacki goes long with a forehand, and that arranges the break-back.

Great start for Wozniacki, taking Buzarnescu's serve and looking by far the more powerful, confident player.

In answer to that previous question, er, probably not. But you never know, and she's never had a better chance, given who's missing - Serena - and who's already out - Venus and Stephens.
