Federer blitzes through first set against Cilic - follow live!

Roger Federer showed no mercy in the first set of the Australian Open final as he took it 6-2 against Marin Cilic.

Federer broke straight out of the gate and after four games had only conceded four points to his Croatian opponent - with a double break putting him in firm control.

Cilic won his first game to make it 4-1 but he could not claw Federer back, and the first set was over in 24 minutes.
