Alexander Zverev’s miserable record at Grand Slams continued with a third-round defeat to Chung Hyeon at the Australian Open.

The German fourth seed, tipped by many as a future world number one, disintegrated in the final set as Chung clinched a surprise 5-7 7-6(3) 2-6 6-3 6-0 triumph.
Despite securing two Masters titles in 2017, the 20-year-old has never gone beyond the fourth round of a Slam – and on this evidence, he is still some way away from impressing in the best-of-five format.

Zverev hits unbelievable around-the-net winner

Zverev looked to have regained control of the match after racing through the third set, but a sloppy fourth saw his belief vanish.
It all proved too much for 20-year-old Zverev, who began to unravel in the fourth set, complaining bitterly to the umpire that the lights should be switched on despite it being only 6 p.m. in overcast Melbourne.
"I can't see anything," the German told the official.

And his Melbourne campaign ended with a whimper as Chung – just 11 months older than his opponent – blitzed through the final set in 24 minutes.
World number 58 Chung, who won the Next Gen title in November, will face either Novak Djokovic or Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the fourth round.
