Third seed Milos Raonic was beaten in the second round of the European Open in Antwerp on Wednesday.
Raonic was defeated 7-6 (7/3) 7-5 by fellow Canadian Vasek Pospisil.
Fourth seed Richard Gasquet beat Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic 6-3 4-6 6-3, while his fellow Frenchman Gilles Simon, the fifth seed, beat Mackenzie McDonald of the United States 6-1 6-1.
Jan-Lennard Struff of Germany beat Spain’s Feliciano Lopez 6-1 3-6 7-6 (7/3) in the day’s other second round game, while Italy’s Salvatore Caruso and Cameron Norrie of Great Britain won their first-round matches.
Third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece beat Australia’s John Millman 6-4 3-6 6-3 in the second round of the Stockholm Open.
The United States’ Jack Sock, the fourth seed, beat Swedish wildcard Elias Ymer 7-5 3-6 6-3.
Denis Shapovalov was a first-round winner, beating fellow Canadian Peter Polansky 6-3 5-7 7-5.
Top seed Marco Cecchinato of Italy was beaten 6-2 6-3 by France’s Adrian Mannarino in the second round of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow.
Wildcard Karen Khachanov of Russia beat Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic 6-4 7-5 and lucky loser Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania defeated Slovenia’s Aljaz Bedene 3-6 7-6 (7/3) 7-6 (7/5).
Belarus’ Egor Gerasimov also won, defeating France’s Benoit Paire 6-4 6-4.
