Jelena Jankovic looks to continue her Cinderella run in this year’s US Open when she takes on Justine Henin-Hardenne in the semi-finals on Friday.

The 19th seed is enjoying by far and away her best ever performance in a grand slam at Flushing Meadows, having already knocked out three top 10 players in Nicole Vaidisova, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Elena Dementieva.
Her previous best performance in a grand slam came when she reached the 4th round of this year's Wimbledon championship, but despite only winning one WTA title in career, the Serb admits that she feels in great form.
"I have so much confidence right now. In this tournament, I beat three top 10 players. It's amazing," she said.
As well as taking the three top 10 scalps in New York, Jankovic has also beaten both Williams sisters this year, but she also went through a spell where she lost 10 matches in a row.
Certainly if Jankovic can somehow manage to defeat Henin-Hardenne, then it will represent the greatest win of her career so far.

Henin-Hardenne, who can count the 2003 US Open title amongst her five grand slam titles, has looked pretty much unbeatable in New York so far.
Despite carrying a rib injury, the Belgian has crushed most of her opponents, with a first-set slip up against Ai Sugiyama, being the only set she has dropped in the tournament so far.
The second seed has also made it to the previous three grand slam finals this year, but she still insists it won't be easy to make a fourth successive final.
"Jankovic is playing great tennis this week. It's going to be a tough, tough one for me," she said.
