Eurosport, the UK’s home of Grand Slam tennis, is to bring tennis fans the best ever coverage of the US Open with more than 200 hours exclusively live as history maker Andy Murray, the first tennis player to win two Olympic singles titles, targets back-to-back Grand Slams.

A stellar presenter line-up has been secured for the US Open with Rob Curling at the helm alongside former British No. 1 players Greg Rusedski and Annabel Croft. Grand Slam champions Pat Cash, Mats Wilander and Mary Pierce will be joined in Flushing Meadows by Andrew Castle, Mark Petchey, Jo Durie and Catherine Whitaker with Simon Reed, Frew McMillan and Chris Bradnam on commentary duties.

Susanna Dinnage, EVP and MD of Discovery Networks UK and Ireland said: “With unrivalled multiplatform coverage and a world-class line-up of expert analysts and commentators, Eurosport is providing the most comprehensive coverage of the US Open to date in the UK.

" As well as full coverage on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, for the first time we’re bringing live action from 12 match courts via Eurosport Player putting tennis fans in complete control. Our exclusive and unparalleled coverage of the US Open takes fans even closer to all the action and the stories that matter from the last Grand Slam of the year."

Murray returns to the US Open hoping to emulate his triumphant 2012 campaign where he defeated Djokovic over five epic sets. Reunited with coach Ivan Lendl, Murray has been in fine form this year, lifting the Wimbledon trophy and winning a second Olympic gold medal after victory in Rio – as well as reaching the final of the Australian and French Open.

World number one Serena Williams is perfectly poised to eclipse Steffi Graf’s haul of 22 Grand Slam titles and set a new singles record.
