Anderson: "The first two sets, Novak beat up on me pretty bad....
"I came within a point or two of taking it to a fourth, it would have been great to have played longer here.
"But playing against Novak isn't easy. He's a true champion of our sport and obviously congratulations to him and his whole team."

GAME, SET AND MATCH! - DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 7-6 ANDERSON. Novak Djokovic wins Wimbledon for a fourth time! The Serb takes the tie break 7-3 to seal a straight sets victory in two hours and 18 minutes. It's his 13th Grand Slam title and sees him take sole ownership of fourth spot on the all-time list of men's singles major winners. He also becomes the lowest-ranked man (21 in the world) to win the Wimbledon title since Goran Ivanisevic in 2001. With this victory, he will move back into the top 10.
Anderson came to life in Set 3, but looked shattered from his marathon man exertions against Federer and Isner in the first two today. He loses his second Slam final, but can be proud of his efforts over the fortnight. He'll move up to No.5 in the world on Monday.

TB LATEST: It's going Nole's way. He notches up a couple of mini breaks, most notably with a sublime forehand pass. The Serb leads 5-1 at the change of ends.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 6-6 ANDERSON. Djokovic comes under major pressure, but he finds a way out once again. The Serb faces double break point, but staves them off before batting off a third from deuce. A sizzling backhand pass and a sixth ace of the match get him into a tie break.
Ando still has a chance to bite back, but needs to serve big in this breaker.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 5-6 ANDERSON. Big Kev guarantees himself the minimum of a tie break as ace No.10 propels him to a hold to love.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 5-5 ANDERSON. Novak is living dangerously. He double faults to gift Ando set point and then just about saves it when he coolly prods over the net after the crowd though he'd overcooked an earlier forehand mid-rally.
The Serb then inexplicably serves another double fault to cough up a second set point, but he digs in and roars with relief as he somehow survives to pull level.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 4-5 ANDERSON. A pair of aces outweigh the damage o an early double fault as Ando stays on course. More pressure for Djoker now.

DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 4-4 ANDERSON. That's brilliant focus from Djokovic. He must have felt the pressure there as Anderson got a big favour off the net cord when his backhand bobbled over. It earned him a break point, but the Serb responded with a cool volley at the net and a tasty second serve.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 3-4 ANDERSON. Big Kev lands a trio of aces to take his tally to seven. The South African has finally found his serve and that's not a good sign for Novak, who will be aiming to finish this in the next 15 minutes or so.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 3-3 ANDERSON. A quite brilliant backhand pass up the line is the pick of Djokovic's points as the former world number one clocks up another love hold.

DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 2-3 ANDERSON. Ando duffs an easy volley into the net but is still fist-pumping at the end of a game to 30 as he keeps his nose in front with a rasping crosscourt forehand. This set is now following the type of pattern we were expecting from the off.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 2-2 ANDERSON. It's a fourth ace for Djokovic as he rushes through a simple love hold. He served so well against Nadal and has high win percentages on first and second serve today.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 1-2 ANDERSON. Big Kev pumps his fist as the forehand bursts through Djokovic's defences to clinch another routine hold. This is more like it from Kev Dog.

Indeed.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 1-1 ANDERSON. Nole responds with a similarly comfortable game to 15 to get on the board.
DJOKOVIC 6-2 6-2 0-1 ANDERSON. How Anderson must wish he'd found that service game one hour and 18 minutes ago. He finally holds at the start of the set. It could well be more competitive in this set, but has the South African left it too late?
