CIBULKOVA 5-7 4-5 OSTAPENKO. That's gutsy from Dominika. The pressure intensifies as 40-30 turns to deuce, but she keeps her nerve and poses the serve-out question to Jelena.


CIBULKOVA 5-7 3-5 OSTAPENKO. A wonderfully placed ace concludes a supreme love hold for the No.12 seed. She's one game away from the semi finals. She's been quite magnificent up to this point, crunching 36 winners - 30 more than her opponent.

BREAK! - CIBULKOVA 5-7 2-3 OSTAPENKO. The Latvian comes out all guns blazing once more and has too much in her armoury for the Cibulkova defence. It's a break to 15 and the 12th seed regains the initiative.

BREAK! - CIBULKOVA 5-6 OSTAPENKO. Wowza! Ostapenko blows the Cibulkova serve to bits and breaks to love. The Latvian will now serve for the set.


CIBULKOVA 5-5 OSTAPENKO. It's a hold apiece. After a break-fest in the early exchanges we've seen some decent holds in the last flurry of games. Are we heading for a tie break or will we see one last decisive moment?


CIBULKOVA 4-4 OSTAPENKO. Jelena takes her eye-catching tally of winners to 15 as she holds her nerve to 30. Cibulkova has just the two, but is less likely to leak unforced errors.

CIBULKOVA 3-3 OSTAPENKO. Jelena ties the match with a much-needed hold to 15, finished off with a lovely backhand winner.


BREAK! - CIBULKOVA 3-2 OSTAPENKO. And we have another break! Cibulkova looks to have wrestled control at 40-30, but Ostapenko makes deuce and goes on to break courtesy of a trio of winners.

BREAK! - CIBULKOVA 0-1 OSTAPENKO. What a start from Jelena. She sees triple break point disappear, but keeps battering on the door until she does make the breakthrough on her SIXTH opportunity!
