Kuznetsova - who won her other title in Miami as well as finishing runner-up in Warsaw and at the French Open - had to withstand an aggressive performance from her opponent in the first set.
The top seeded Russian faced a break point in the very first game but recovered and then broke to hold a 2-0 lead.
But Bartoli fought back immediately taking the next ten points, before the match settled and games went with serve until Kuznetsova broke for the set in the 12th game.
The 21-year-old - who is now unbeaten in 12 matches in Bali - struggled to hold serve at the beginning of the second set fighting off break points before eventually closing out the game on her fifth attempt.
It was all Kuznetsova from this point on and - although Bartoli broke to love in the fifth game - the Russian never looking in danger of losing.
"I could have won easier but I won in two sets so I'm pretty happy about it," said Kuznetsova. "I didn't play my best out there but I still fought for every point somehow. But definitely I could have done much better.
"Mentally it was a little bit hard because yesterday was a tough match and I gave a lot of me out there. I was trying to do my best today but maybe I was not so motivated as yesterday, because yesterday was very exciting to play Lindsay (Davenport)."
Bartoli, who said she tired in the second set, has taken only two days off since Wimbledon.
"I think I played good the first set," said Bartoli. "I played the same level as yesterday but Svetlana was a little more consistent and created more topspin to her ball, not allowing me to hit as hard as I would.
"Then in the second set I was feeling the tiredness from yesterday and it was hard to come back although I fought to the end. But reaching the final was a great achievement."
Bartoli's warm-up was interrupted for some time after she was hit on her left arm by a ball from Kuznetsova and she was still angry after the match.
"It didn't affect my performance but it was quite a weird feeling," Bartoli told reporters. "You go to the net to warm up and she hit as hard as she could right in front of me. It's not really nice and it was painful but I got through it.
"Of course she apologised but it's not really a great thing to do. If she came to the net to warm-up I wouldn't hit straight to her as hard as I could. That's not the way you warm up somebody."
Kuznetsova said the incident had been an accident.
"I was sorry it happened and I saw tears in her eyes and felt terrible," said Kuznetsova. "I didn't mean to hit somebody. I was just using her power and hit straight to the middle. I don't think it was my fault. She has to expect the ball to come back at the same power but she was standing so close to the net."
