Peer wins Instanbul Open

Israel's Shahar Peer recovered from a set down to upset Russia's Anastasia Myskina 1-6 6-3 7-6 (7-3) and grab her third title of the season.
Peer had not won a title until this year, when she claimed the crowns at Pattaya City, Thailand and Prague, Czech Republic. Both of those tournaments were Tier IV events, while this is a Tier III.
Peer routed second-seeded German Anna-Lena Groenefeld 6-0 6-2 on Friday to reach the finals.
Meanwhile, the 2004 French Open champion has yet to win a title this year. She is seeded 10th for the upcoming French Open.
