Fenninger retains women's overall World Cup

Austria's Anna Fenninger retained the women's overall World Cup on Sunday after winning the last giant slalom of the season at the Alpine skiing World Cup finals in Meribel.
Fenninger, who won her first overall title in 2014, overtook Slovenia's Tina Maze to beat the 2013 World Cup champion by 22 points.
Maze, who had led Fenninger by 18 points, finished third in the season's final race with Austrian Eva-Maria Brem taking second place.
