Tina Maze became the third woman to win World Championship gold in four different events after she claimed victory in the alpine combined in Beaver Creek, America.
Heading to the start line Slovenian Maze was already able to boast downhill gold from the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships, having won the Super-G and giant slalom titles in 2013 and 2011 respectively.
And at 31 years old she now has the complete set as she claimed the only discipline missing from her impressive CV, one that also includes two gold and two silver Olympic medals.
Maze came home in 2:33.37 minutes to earn her second gold of the Championships, joining Anja Parson and Marielle Goitschel as the only women to win world titles in four different events.
The silver medal went to Austrian Nicole Hosp as she finished 0.22 seconds behind Maze for the sixth World Championship medal of her career.
And completing the podium in third was Michaela Kirchgasser as she came home in 2:33.72 for just her second World Championship medal.
Meanwhile, Lindsey Vonn, who finished seventh in the downhill, failed to finish after straddling a gate near the top of the slalom course.
