Vonn clocked a time of 1:26.55 in Italy to win gold, with Tina Weirather in second and Viktoria Rebensburg completing the top three.
The win sees Vonn move 45 points clear of second-placed Lara Gut at the top of the overall World Cup standings.
It also sees the 31-year-old American join Renate Götschl on a record 41 Super G World Cup podium finishes.
She also equalled Katja Seizinger's 1997 record of winning five successive World Cup Super G races and Vonn will have the opportunity to break both those records in Germany on February 7.
