Tessa Worley became the first ever French woman to win 11 Grand Slalom World Cup races with victory in Maribor on Saturday.
In triumphing in Slovenia, Worley overtakes previous record holder Carole Merle, who had ten wins in the 1980s and 1990s.
Worley clocked a total time of 2:16.96 across her two runs to take the gold medal - her third of the season - with Italy's Sofia Goggia taking second, 0.16 seconds behind.
Switzerland's Lara Gut took third, 0.25 seconds back, for her third Grand Slalom podium position of the campaign.
Having placed fourth in Maribor, Mikaela Shiffrin held onto top spot in the overall rankings with 848 points in total, with Gut in second on 643. Worley leads the giant slalom standings on 500.
Shiffrin had beaten Worley to win the previous two giant slalom races, and Worley admitted she was thrilled to be back on top.
"It feels better for sure," she said. "I can't say I was disappointed as second places are awesome.
"But to be able to fight back to the top feels great."
