World indoor 60m champion Richard Kilty admits he is relishing the chance to blow away the cobwebs at this Saturday's Glasgow International Match.
Last March Kilty produced a stunning personal best run to take gold at the World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland.
He followed that up with a series of outdoor relay successes over the summer, helping Great Britain to 4x100m World Relay bronze and European gold either side of a silver with Team England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Attention now turns back to indoor responsibilities with Kilty competing for the first time since his triumph in Poland this weekend.
He is named among a 21-strong strong Great Britain and Northern Ireland team, led by captain and London 2012 Olympian Conrad Williams, and including former world junior silver medalist Jessica Judd in the 1500m, and 2008 world indoor long jump silver medallist Chris Tomlinson.
"To be at the Glasgow International Match as world champion is really exciting," said 25-year-old Kilty.
"This is my first race back as world champion and I'm really excited to get back to Great Britain and perform.
"I'm pretty nervous to get out there, I haven't competed for about four months.
"I'm sure the crowd will get behind me so I can run a pretty quick time and put in a good performance."
