Amir Khan believes he could be less than two weeks away from having a fight against Floyd Mayweather confirmed.

28-year-old Khan says he has "no interest" in an all-British bout with domestic welterweight rival Kell Brook, focusing instead on pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather.
Speaking to Press Association Sport Khan said, "I don't think I have ever been closer to getting the fight with Floyd Mayweather than I am at this moment.

"The indications are that I have strengthened my case with my win over (Chris) Algieri and I believe there is every chance the fight could be confirmed within the next two weeks."
Floyd Mayweather is undefeated in 48 fights having recently beaten Filipino Manny Pacquiao in one of the most hotly anticipated fights in recent times.

Khan has long been chasing a clash with Mayweather but knows time is running out with the American set to retire after two more fights.
The British fighter feels he does have options if a fight is not agreed, however.
"The welterweight division is one of the hottest in world boxing at the moment and there are any number of other possibilities, including Miguel Cotto and Keith Thurman," said Khan.
"I have waited too long and, while I believe it is finally going to happen, I am still determined to pursue other big fights in the United States once I have had some time off with my family."
