Anthony Joshua makes light work of Kevin Johnson

Anthony Joshua ended Kevin Jonson’s record of never being stopped in a fight, knocking out the 35-year-old American early in the second round of their heavyweight bout.
Johnson was seen as a fighter who could take Joshua the distance but it could have been over inside the first.
A huge right hand from Joshua, who had 12 wins and 12 knockouts in his career going into the fight, forced the American down onto one knee, holding onto the ropes to stay up.
Another series of fierce rights at the end of the fist saw Johnson fall through the ropes, with many believing the fight was already over.
Johnson, who had a record of 22-0 before he fought Vitali Klitschko in 2009, came back out for the second round, attempting to defend his record of never being stopped in a fight.
He was immediately on the back-foot however, as Joshua combined fierce rights with left uppercuts.
The referee was left with little option but to end the fight giving Joshua the most emphatic of victories over a former world title challenger.
After the fight promoter Eddie Hearn promised Joshua a high-profile fight on September 12th, once again at the O2 Arena.
