Floyd Mayweather tells Manny Pacquiao in person: ‘We have to make this fight happen’

Floyd Mayweather has uploaded a short video on his Instagram account which shows the undefeated American telling Manny Pacquiao that they have to fight before retirement.

“Before we leave this sport, of course, we have to make this fight happen,” said Mayweather in the video uploaded on Sunday.
He added in a caption: “from the looks of this video… I’m telling Manny Pacquiao that we have to give the world this fight.”
The latest development in one of the most protracted sagas in sport will likely have little effect on fans who have waited for over half a decade for the bout.
Mayweather’s video comes just days after Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, said that Showtime and HBO had come to a deal to finalise their side of talks to broadcast the highly anticipated super fight.
"We had four issues and we resolved two," he said. "Now we're working on resolving the other two. Unless something else comes up at the last minute, that's what my take is."
But within moments of the story's release, representatives on all sides of the negotiation vehemently denied the story – leading to reports that the fight looked doubtful.
