Holm used lead left hands to keep Yankovich of balance and confused. Holm broke Yankovich’s nose in the second round with a hard right hand, from there it was a matter of time before Holm halted her foe.

The end came when referee Rocky Burke halted the action and asked for the doctor to take a look at Yanovich, it was there that the doctor halted the fight giving Holm the win. Holm defended her WIBA title and raises her record to 24-1-3, while Yankovich fals to 11-1.

In the co-main event Mike Alderete and Theo Kruger battled it out but nothing was decided as the fight was declared a majority draw.
