The English trio of Jack Brooker, Mason Smith and Cheavon Clarke and joined by Scotland's Scott Forest in the men's team while Welsh boxer Lauren Price joins the female set up at the GB Boxing headquarters in Sheffield.
Clarke and Forrest competed against each other at the recent GB Boxing Championships with the former winning on a unanimous decision.
Price meanwhile picked up silver at last November's European Championships in Bulgaria at what was her first ever major international tournament.
All five were successful in completing the GB Boxing assessment process and will now take part in a three-month trial with the team, including heading to an overseas training camp in Gerena, Spain at the end of January.
Mark Geraghty, podium potential planning coach said: "It's always great seeing new boxers come through the performance pathway, especially this group as we have boxers coming onto the programme from each of the home nations.
"We're heading into the Tokyo 2020 cycle, the boxing calendar has so much to offer tournament wise. I'm looking forward to getting these young boxers out there and seeing what they bring to the team."
