Martin Johnsrud Sundby wrapped up the 2016/2017 overall World Cup title after victory in Oslo on Saturday.
With four races remaining, the Norwegian now has an insurmountable lead in the standings after clocking his fifth World Cup win of the season.
After missing the race in Drammen earlier in the week, the 32-year-old fought out front for much of Saturday's race alongside Finland's Iivo Niskanen before opening up a lead with three kilometres remaining.
He eventually finished in a total time of 2:02:59.7 with Niskanen 9.9 seconds back.
Russia's Alexander Bessmertnykh rounded off the podium, 14.27 seconds behind the victor.
Sundby now moves onto 1626 points overall for the season with Sergey Ustiugov second on 1176 after finishing eighth on Saturday.
