Alexander Kristoff extends Three Days of De Panne lead, Bradley Wiggins further behind

Alexander Kristoff has extended his advantage in Three Days of De Panne with Sir Bradley Wiggins continuing to endure some indifferent form on the second stage of the race.

Team Sky rider Wiggins is 54 seconds behind Norwegian Kristoff, who extended his overall lead by winning stage two after his victory in stage one.
Kristoff of Team Katusha had moved into the overall lead by winning stage one on Tuesday, and managed to hold off Elia Viviani of Team Sky with Shane Achbold of Bora-Argon 18 finishing third in a sprint finish in Koksijde.
The Norwegian also picked up 10 bonus seconds meaning his overall advantage was extended to 16 seconds over Stijn Devolder of Trek Factory Racing and 17 seconds ahead of third place Lotto Soudal rider Lars Bak.
Wiggins was 44 seconds down after day one and fell a further 10 seconds adrift on day two.
Wiggins will hope to make up ground on Thursday afternoon's 14.2 km time trial that sees the race conclude.
There is a 111.4 km stage on Thursday morning that see the riders start and finish in De Panne.
