Appelt wins junior time trial at World Championships

Germany's Leo Appelt won nthe junior men's time trial at cycling's World Championships in Richmond, Virginia..
Appelt rocketed round the course in 37 minutes 45 seconds to beat US riders Adrien Costa and Brandon McNulty into second and third place respectively.
The action continues on Wednesday with one of the showpiece events of the championships: the elite men's individual time trial.
