Geraint Thomas leads Sky to win in Tour de Romandie opener

Britain's Geraint Thomas led Team Sky to victory in the Team Time Trial first stage of the Tour de Romandie.

Thomas and his Team Sky comrades beat Orica-GreenEdge by just 0.63 seconds over the 19.2km course to take first blood in the six-stage race.

The Welshman crossed the line first to earn the honour of wearing the leaders' yellow jersey on Wednesday's 168km second stage from Apples to St Imier.
