Algeria squad announced

Three uncapped players have been named by Algeria in a 21-man squad for their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde Islands in Algiers on Saturday.

Coach Jean-Michel Cavalli on Tuesday named goalkeeper Samir Hadjaoui, striker Mohamed Seiffedine Amroune and French-born defender Halim Medaci for the Group Eight qualifier.
Watford striker Hameur Bouazza, who made his debut in a friendly last month, retains his place and is set for his first competitive international.
Algeria lead the group standings with four points, one more than Cape Verde.
