Barcelona Twitter account hacked – announces phantom signing

Hackers briefly took over the Twitter account of Barcelona on Wednesday night and announced the signing of Angel di Maria.

Tweets appeared late in the evening welcoming former the Real Madrid and Manchester United player to the Liga side.
However, the club took to social media to announce that they been hacked.
The offending tweets were subsequently deleted but can be seen below.
Goal report that the incident was the work of hacking group OurMine, a Saudi group, who have previously taken over the social accounts of CNN and Netflix.
