Guardiola’s future is currently the subject of much speculation, with the three-year contract he signed with the German champions back in 2013 due to expire next summer.
After a storm of speculation that the coach was being pursued by Premier League suitors including Manchester City and Chelsea, in recent weeks there have been growing suggestions that he will sign an extension at the Allianz Arena before the end of the calendar year.
The varying nature of the press reports perhaps suggest that even those around the club do not quite know what is going to happen – with Guardiola’s agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, admitting even he is in the dark about the tactician's plans.
Orobitg revealed he has been involved in some “intensive” discussions with his client about the options available to him.
"Not even I know what Pep's intentions are," Orobitg told TZ.
"We've had some intensive talks in the past few days, but when it comes to things like this, he's very private.
"He will make up his mind entirely based on his own impressions.
"One thing is for sure, however, and that is everybody around him will accept his decision, no matter what it is."
Bayern have continued to dominate the Bundesliga since Guardiola arrived at the club in 2013, but have yet to win the Champions League under the Spaniard.
Some observers believe Guardiola will stay at the club at least until that ambition is reached. Orobitg insists that his client is settled in Bavaria.
"Pep is very happy in Munich," Orobitg added.
"The city is beautiful, his family feels comfortable. At the end of the day, it is a decision he is going to take by himself."
