Luis Suarez: It is a privilege to play with Lionel Messi, the world's best player

The Uruguay forward Suarez has scored 44 goals in 65 matches for the Spanish and European champions since arriving from Liverpool in a £65m transfer last summer.

He contributed heavily alongside Messi and Neymar to Barca's success in carrying off La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey last season.

"It's a privilege to play alongside the best player in the world," said Suarez. "Everything he does is admirable.

"A Uruguayan and an Argentine have very similar ways of living day-to-day. So we drink mate together, we know the same culture, we have the same age and we talk about things from when we were younger. "
