Chris Smalling and Marouane Fellaini fit to start, Ajax name record-breaking team

Chris Smalling and Marouane Fellaini are both fit enough to start the Europa League final for Manchester United with opponents Ajax naming a record-breaking team of youngsters.

Smalling and Fellaini had both been doubts in the build-up to this game along with Antonio Valencia, but all are able to start.
Sergio Romero starts in goal ahead of David De Gea as expected, with Marcus Rashford leading the line. Juan Mata starts just behind the 19-year-old striker with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Phil Jones, Michael Carrick, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and captain Wayne Rooney make up an experienced bench alongside De Gea and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
Meanwhile, Ajax name the youngest starting XI to play in a major European final with an average age of 22 years and 282 days.
And, at the age of 17 years and 285 days, Matthijs de Ligt becomes the youngest player to feature in a European final.
