Ibehre keen on Oldham stay

The striker is due to return to Colchester in January after moving to the SportsDirect.com Park in October.

He has scored once in nine games and wants to remain with Lee Johnson's side.

"I'm taking each games as it comes. I have really enjoyed my time here and everyone has been fantastic to me so we will have to see what happens in the closing games," he told the club's official site.

"I would love to stay because I've really enjoyed it here. We'll have to see what happens over the festive period and take it from there.

"We will definitely push on after Christmas and in the new year I'm hoping that we will be in the play-offs."
