Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink seeks to raid former club Burton for Nasser El Khayati

Burton have confirmed they have accepted a bid from QPR for Nasser El Khayati.

El Khayati, who did not play on Saturday as League One leaders Burton fell to a surprise 2-1 defeat to Rochdale, could link up with former Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Loftus Road.

A statement on Albion's website read: "Burton Albion striker Nasser El Khayati is in talks with Championship QPR after the two clubs agreed a fee for the 26-year-old."

El Khayati has scored 11 goals in 44 appearances for the Brewers since joining in January 2015.
