Gary Johnson says he will meet the Cheltenham board this week as he considers his future in the aftermath of relegation.
The former Yeovil boss, who signed a deal until the end of the season when he took charge of the Robins, failed to keep the Whaddon Road side in the Football League and a 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury on Saturday sealed their fate.
And Johnson says he will "see what happens" in the coming days.
"I hope to give the board of directors and the staff a good run down of how I've seen it and we will see what happens after that," he told the Gloucestershire Echo.
"It's a nice club and a genuine club, with some genuine people on the board. I want the club to do well so we will see what happens.
"I am not saying yes I will stay, or no I will leave. It's not the time straight away to make those decisions because I am down about what has happened."
