Fluminese's Brazilian left back Marcelo could be in line for a move to Real Madrid according to his agent. Marcelo is considered to be Brazil's long term heir to Roberto Carlos and Real may act on his club's financial difficulties with a 6million euro bid.

Marcelo is valued at around twice that, but Fluminese have not paid players' wages in two months and a January sale could ease some of their worries.
"Today we will find out if Marcelo has the chance to play for Real", agent Ricardo Alda said.
