Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have made Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo their number one transfer target with a €125m (£90m) fee mooted.

Marca cites a claim from French publication L’Equipe that says any PSG approach for Ronaldo will have to wait until 2016, although the Parisians would like to move now - and even threatened to push through a move this summer unless Real cooled their interest in Marco Verratti.
Complicating the deal is the fact any move would be hamstrung by Financial Fair Play but PSG continue to look for a way around the limitations imposed by UEFA, which are set to be relaxed.
Marca has previously put the fee required to sign Ronaldo at €125m and, when every aspect of the cost of the deal is taken into account, the Portuguese would cost in the region of €300m.
PSG would be unable to afford such an investment now, and that is why any bid for Ronaldo would have to wait 12 months, Marca add.
Yet another Spanish publication, AS, revealed that Verratti was key to the timing of the deal.
They report that PSG threatened to go after Ronaldo this season in retaliation for Madrid’s constant interest in Italy star Verratti.
However, after PSG issued said 'threat', Madrid are believed to have cooled their interest in the former Pescara man.
OUR VIEW
Ronaldo will, simply put, not leave Real Madrid this summer regardless of whether PSG or anyone else can get around FFP rules. The reason is simple: he is 10 goals shy of overtaking Raul as Real Madrid’s leading scorer. Ronaldo being Ronaldo, he wants that record.
The Verratti development is an interesting one - as a player exchange deal between the two clubs could lessen the exposure to FFP implications but, by the looks of things, the 'threat' was most probably a powerplay by the Parisians.
However, he could very well be open to a move in 2016. Ronaldo has won the Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey at Real and come next summer he will be their leading goalscorer so it would make logical sense for the Portuguese to leave on his terms. Furthermore, a move to PSG would appeal – he is almost guaranteed to sweep the domestic awards and would have an outside chance of winning the Champions League with a third club.
