Late leveller rocks Rovers

Ricky Modeste's late equaliser denied Bristol Rovers top spot in the Conference heading into the final round of matches next weekend as Dover salvaged a 1-1 draw.

Rovers looked to be taking a huge step towards the title when Ellis Harrison put them in front but they could not hold on and Modeste's 88th-minute leveller kept Barnet top.

Dover went close early in the second half when Connor Essam headed narrowly wide from a Solomon Taiwo free-kick.

Harrison then pounced in the 63rd minute to volley in from close range after Nathan Blissett headed down a Chris Lines free-kick into the box.
