Peterborough United, Burton Albion 1

Burton Albion moved to the top of League One after yet another win. Tom Naylor scored the deciding goal just three minutes into the contest and the league's best defence made that stand up as they leapfrogged Gillingam in the table.

Bradford City 0, Barnsley 1

Barnsley have now won five straight matches in the league after walking away from Valley Parade victorious. Marley Watkins nodded home a George Williams cross a mere two minutes after kick-off and that was all Barnsley needed to take all three points.

Blackpool 0, Sheffield United 0

Neither the Tangerines nor the Blades could find a breakthrough on Tuesday. The result was tough for Sheffield United, who are fighting for a play-off place, but Blackpool will be happy to get one point further from the drop zone.

Bury 0, Crewe Alexandra 0

Bury dominated the affair at Gigg Lane, but they couldn't find a way through in 90 minutes. The point is vital to Crewe's survival hopes as they creep closer to safety, but they still remain in the drop zone and need several more results to go their way for the rest of the campaign.

Doncaster Rovers 1, Port Vale 2

Port Vale's pursuit of a promotion play-off place got a boost on Tuesday with a win at Doncaster. Ajay Leitch-Smith played the role of hero, scoring in each half to lead Port Vale to victory. The Valiants are now just three points from six place, although they are still in 10th and have played one more match than some of the clubs they are chasing.

Shrewsbury Town 0, Oldham Athletic 1

Oldham may have picked up the most important result of the day in League One, nabbing a vital three points as they make a push to avoid the drop. Carl Winchester scored the lone goal of the match as Oldham notched their first win since November 14. They are now on 24 points, just four from safety.
